So I went to see the latest Harry Potter movie last night.
Go see it. Despite a minority of reviews that claim otherwise, the movie is an excellent attempt to translate the book into something appropriate for the big screen. When comparing the book to the movie, you should also consider that the book is enormous and would require a Lord of the Rings sort of length to even begin to cram everything in. At just over two hours, the younger kiddies in the audience are only just beginning to get restless, but all but the smallest adult bladders will be able to comfortably enjoy every second.
